Molaya Kgosi Leadership and Mentorship Programme, was started by a team of comprised of highly driven and successful young professional women whose expertise range from Project Management to Public Relations, Law to Economics who cam up and established Molaya Kgosi Trust from where the Leadership and Mentorship Program is run.
The programme acts as a bridge closing the gap between the generations. Molaya Kgosi’s objectives include the promotion of intergenerational dialogue among women, the provision of career and leadership guidance to driven young women, providing the youth with opportunities for mentorship and acquisition of necessary skills and information required to succeed in their chosen career paths.
“BeMobile Six Degrees of Separation” networking series held under the themes Personal Branding, Business Etiquette, Entrepreneurship and innovation, Legal awareness, Property and Investment, and Financial Literacy. The Networking series are aimed at equipping young professionals with soft skills to promote personal and professional development and to also provide an opportunity for the Youth to meet with likeminded individuals to meet and expand their network.
The documentary showcased a series of in-depth one on one interview and narrations on the challenges, experiences & influences of successful Batswana women in different sectors.
The program team leader, chairperson and co-founder of the Molaya Kgosi Trust is Ms Bogolo Kenewendo, an active community developer with over 10 years’ experience as a youth activist, an alumni for the USA President’s Young African Leaders Initiative and an Economist. The Trust was also co-founded by Ms Kabelo Ngwenya, who is the strategy officer of the program, a professional accountant, research analyst and management consultant; Ms Temwanani Karen Phiri, who is the program’s legal advisor, a women empowerment activist, blogger and a Commercial litigation lawyer; Ms. Nomakhosi Mookodi, the program’s Logistics officer who is currently a Business Analyst at Botswana Special Economic Zones Authority; Ms. Thato Bolokwe, the program’s resource mobilization officer who is currently the Business Sector Coordinator at Business Botswana under the Policy Advocacy Unit.
