Painting With Light …. with Christian Epps

Its not every day that a Hollywood lighting expert in the caliber of Christian Epps comes to Harare.  And we loved every minute of it!

Early June 2015 Christian connected with the Mandela Washington Fellows for 2015 Napoleon Nyanhi & Munyarardzi Dodo in Atlanta during a reception dinner by the Mayor of Atlanta. It so happened  that one of Christians last major productions Selma was being screened at the International Images Film Festival for Women (IIFF 2015)  in Harare in August 2015. And it so happened that the Festival Director for IIFF 2015 Yvonne Jila  was also a Mandela Fellow.

Two weeks after the Mandela Washington Fellowship ended Mr Epps arrived in Zimbabwe for a one day event. He conducted a  “Painting With Light” lighting workshop at Media Matrix which was attended by more than 50 professionals. Later Napoleon interviewed Christian at Star FM before heading out to the screening of SELMA at Prince Edward High School.
