Bringing Therapy to African Leaders Steven Harageib

Bernardus Steven Harageib is a leadership coach, therapist by profession whose dream is to rewrite the narrative of not only Namibian youth but youth across Africa. He has a Bachelor of Arts Honors Degree from the University of Namibia. He has been part of various social justice initiatives including “The Young Achievers Empowerment Project”, which he co-founded in 2004.

He has been involved in campus ministry equipping students for market place impact for the past seven years. He appears and produces several youth programs and radio broadcasts including Worldchangers Today. He is a One Young World Ambassador driving the implementation of the SDGs in local communities.He served as as Class President 2015/2016 at the Preparing Global Leaders Institute in Macedonia.

He continues working in the Southern and Eastern African region for governance and youth participation through the Youth Initiative for Elections. He provides psychosocial support for key populations in Namibia. Through MenConnect he has worked with men and boys as allies to end gender based violence and to top it all he is part of a music school that raises young musicians in his native country of Namibia.
