Elsa DANSOKHO is a young, passionate educationalist, mentor, writer and headstrong African woman convinced that the future of the continent lies in the hands of Africans, her heart and passion is to expose Africa’s potential to the whole world. It was this conviction that prompted her to come back in her home country, Senegal, after her studies in International Relations at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland.
Believing in the power of Education, Elsa chose to work in the higher education and research sector, first as a Project Manager at Gaston Berger University of Saint-Louis, Senegal, then as the Minister of Higher Education and Research Attachée de Cabinet.
After having participated in the development of the current Higher Education Reform in Senegal during her time at the Ministry, she is currently at the Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar to help implement the reform, while also in charge of the development of an environmental project for the University.
